Dr. Maryann Khoudary, MD, founder of Prime Prescribers
Credentials

Trained in the condition she treats.

Dr. Khoudary is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG) and is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) through The Menopause Society, formerly NAMS.

The MSCP credential means completing specialized training in menopause and midlife women’s health. It also means committing to stay current with the research, the treatment options and the best practices for managing menopause symptoms safely and effectively — which matters in a field where guidance has changed substantially in the last decade.

Her focus is perimenopause, hormones and metabolic health. She founded Prime Prescribers to practise the way she thought midlife care should work: enough time to hear the whole history, testing before prescribing, and a plan revisited until it fits the patient’s life.

How she practises

Four things that don’t change.

Individualized. No protocol applied to everyone. Your history, your results, your plan.

Holistic. Hormones, metabolism, sleep, nutrition and stress are looked at together, because they move together.

Evidence-based. Treatment follows what the data supports, not what is trending.

Candid. Including when she can’t help, or when the medication you were hoping for isn’t the right call.
